Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry

Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM we invite parents to check-in their children from 6 weeks to four years old into our community kids ministry. Children will be cared for by trained church members who have passed background checks. They will enjoy Bible study, snack time, and play time.

Community Groups

Sign Up Now!

The Christian life is designed to be lived out in community with one another. Community groups are small groups of people that come together weekly to devote themselves to fellowship with one another, studying God’s Word and prayer.

We currently have 5 inter-generational community groups that will be starting the week of January 7th. Groups take place on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Each of them meet in the home of one of our church members or at the church facility. Let us know which one you are interested in by registering online  and the teacher of that community group will contact you as soon as possible!

AWANA Children’s Ministry

Pre-Register here!

At St. Rose Community Church we believe that we as Christians have a great responsibility to care for and teach the children of the next generation. In Deuteronomy chapter 6, the Lord commands the people of God to put God’s word in their own heart and to then teach that word to their children.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”

This is exactly what the AWANA ministry is all about. AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”  It comes from 2 Timothy 2:15  which states, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

AWANA is a weekly program for kids from 3 yrs old through 5th grade in which we join together for games, music, Bible story and Bible memorization. Not only does AWANA prepare them spiritually for what life will bring, it helps with reading comprehension as well!

AWANA is every Wednesday at 6:30 PM. The final AWANA meeting for 2017 will be December 6th, and we will start back up again on January 10th.

We also have a bus ministry that can pick up children who do not have a ride. Details are on the Pre-Registration form below

Bible Institute

The Bible can be a somewhat overwhelming work of literature. Theology and Doctrine can feel out of reach. The Bible Institute is a ministry of St. Rose Community Church designed to help you learn how to both read the Bible for yourself and discern doctrinal issues with clarity. On the last Sunday of every month we commit ourselves to growing in knowledge regarding a variety of issues. Our next Bible Institute will be January 7th due to the holidays and we will be studying the spiritual gifts.

Sunday Night Prayer

Great movements of God are preceded by the prayers of God’s people, since the early days of St. Rose Community Church we have committed to come together in prayer for one hour a week. During this time we allow God’s Word to influence the way that we pray. We pray for another, we pray for our church, we pray for our community and we pray simply to commune with and praise the God who loves us. It is a powerful and unifying time for our church and anyone who is willing to come and join us. We will be meeting every Sunday at 6:00 PM in the sanctuary for prayer starting June 4th.
