The Lion and the Lamb
When we think of Jesus we often envision the carpenter from Nazareth. It is true that Jesus lived as a man on this earth, but we must not forget the awesomeness of who he has always been and whom he always will be. In the book of Revelation, the apostle John catches visions of Jesus in all of his divine splendor and glory. In Revelation 5, Jesus is depicted as both a lion and a lamb that was slain. How do these two depictions accurately describe this Jesus and what does it mean for what Jesus accomplished in those who believe?
